Nigerian artist Asake and French producer DJ Snake have released a new collaborative single titled “WORSHIP.” The track arrived on 19 March via Giran Republic and EMPIRE.

The collaboration was first previewed during a joint performance at the Red Bull Symphonic in late 2025. Its official release now presents a studio version that combines Asake’s Fuji-influenced Afrobeats style with DJ Snake’s electronic production approach.
“WORSHIP” was produced by Asake alongside Jbanks. The record blends rhythmic percussions and layered vocal arrangements with electronic elements such as bass-driven drops and synthesized textures. The result is a cross-genre sound designed to appeal to both Afrobeats listeners and global dance audiences.
Lyrically, the track centers on themes of gratitude, personal growth, and reflection. Asake’s vocal delivery incorporates choral harmonies and repetitive phrasing, while the production maintains a steady, high-energy structure suited for both radio and live performances.
Since its release, the song has begun gaining traction across streaming platforms, contributing to ongoing conversations around the global reach of Afrobeats. The collaboration also reflects a broader trend of partnerships between African artists and international producers, aimed at expanding audience reach while maintaining cultural identity.
“WORSHIP” marks another step in Asake’s evolving sound, as he continues to explore genre fusion and international collaborations within the contemporary music landscape.
